His absence was discovered within the hour, sending his family into panic.
Unlike some runaway cases where signs of distress build over time, Willie’s disappearance came suddenly. His family noticed nothing unusual earlier that evening. However, when they checked his room and found it empty, the fear set in fast.

Willie is described as a Black male, standing 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighing approximately 136 pounds. He has a slim build and a youthful face. At the time he left, he was wearing red pants, a gray-and-white jacket, and carrying a backpack. No one knows what was in it.
