Emileigh Leblane

Urgent Search For Missing Teen

Missing person in North Carolina.  The Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office has launched an urgent search for 17-year-old Emileigh Leblane, who vanished from the Fayetteville area on Sunday, October 19, 2025. Detectives believe she could still be within Cumberland County, but time is critical.

Description Of Emileigh Leblane

Emileigh is a white female, standing 5’9” and weighing 140–150 pounds. She has multi-colored long braided hair and blue eyes. Her appearance is distinctive, especially because of her nose piercing and unique hairstyle. Friends say she often changes her hair color, making her easy to spot.

Timeline Of Disappearance

According to investigators, Emileigh was last seen near the 6900 block of Godwin Street in Fayetteville. It was Sunday evening, and she may have been walking alone. Since that moment, no one has heard from her. Family members say her sudden silence feels alarming and unusual.

Her phone has been off since the night she disappeared, and her social media accounts have remained inactive. Detectives are tracing her last digital activity, hoping to uncover new leads.

Family’s Desperate Appeal

Her mother, heartbroken and exhausted, shared through tears:

“Emileigh, please come home. You’re not in trouble. We just want you safe.”

The family has been searching every nearby park, shopping center, and parking lot. Flyers with Emileigh’s face cover store windows across Fayetteville. Neighbors have joined the search, hoping someone recognizes her or recalls seeing her that night.

Police Investigation

Sheriff Johnathan Morgan confirmed that Youth Services Detectives are leading the case. Detective W. Lee continues to collect tips and review surveillance footage from the area. Officers have canvassed the neighborhood, knocking on doors and interviewing witnesses.

Authorities also reached out to nearby counties in case Emileigh tried to leave the area. “We’re not ruling out any possibility,” Detective Lee stated. “Every tip counts.”

Community Rallies To Help

The Fayetteville community has shown tremendous support. Volunteers have shared Emileigh’s photo thousands of times on social media using the hashtag #FindEmileighLeblane. Residents continue to organize search efforts in wooded areas and along rural roads.

Many have expressed fear and frustration. Teen disappearances are becoming increasingly common in North Carolina, leaving families desperate and communities shaken. “It could happen to any of us,” one neighbor said while handing out flyers near a local school.

Growing Concern

Investigators worry Emileigh could be in danger or need medical assistance. Although the case is being treated as a voluntary disappearance, detectives stress that her safety remains their top priority. Missing teens often face unpredictable situations, especially when traveling alone.
