He was last seen in blue jeans and a black T-shirt. He carried a black LL Bean backpack. Russell is 5'11”, weighs about 230 pounds, and has brown hair and blue eyes.

Russell rented a gray 2025 Toyota RAV4 with Colorado plates (DXDT30). Searchers found the car parked at the Crags Trailhead. That’s a popular access point for hikers attempting the western route of Pikes Peak. It's rugged terrain. Beautiful. But dangerous if unprepared or injured.
A photo shared online suggests Russell may have reached the Crystal Creek Reservoir or nearby. That’s within reach of the Crags area. Still, no one has confirmed seeing him. No calls. No messages. Just silence.
