The Disappearance: Patience Turner and True Taylor
Fourteen-year-old Patience Turner vanished on April 14, 2025. She was last seen at her home on the 3000 block of 23rd Street North. Her mother, Ms. Brown, left her alone briefly. When she returned, Patience was gone.
A neighbor spotted Patience entering a black sedan. The vehicle had a white top and white mirrors. Police believe the car could be a key clue. Its identity remains unknown.
Patience stands five feet two inches tall and weighs 110 pounds. She wore ash black pants and a white long-sleeve shirt. Over that, she wore a blue True Religion t-shirt. No one has seen or heard from her since.
Her disappearance alarmed her family. They insist Patience has never run away before. Her phone is off. Social media shows no new activity. Loved ones now search every corner for answers.
True Taylor, age 15, vanished three days before Patience. He was last seen on April 11 on Pike Road. His family believes he packed up and left home on purpose.
True is five feet three inches tall and weighs 100 pounds. He has short hair and often wears hoodies. On the day he left, he wore a black shirt, a gray or black sweater, and all-white Jordans.
True’s family discovered his belongings were missing. There was no note. His sudden exit left them shocked. Friends say he’d talked about leaving before. Police think he may have planned this escape.
Despite that, they treat the case seriously. Runaways can still face danger. The streets offer no safety, especially for teens without support.
